Greenbelt Alliance is thrilled to present the following artists who generously perform at our sixth annual Bluegrass for the Greenbelt benefit festival on June 4, 2011. Click on the artists' photos to listen to their music.

The Wronglers

The Brothers Comatose

Now touring in support of their recent debut full-length album, Songs From The Stoop, The Brothers Comatose exude a foot-stomping, shout-along, drink-along ease that was once a staple in every music-playing, front-stoop-possessing home in the land.

"Local Bay Area string band The Brothers Comatose got the crowd a-stompin' good with a rowdy opening set of skillful down-home pickin', highlighted by a fun bluegrass take on the Stones' 'Dead Flowers' ..." Eric Podolsky, Jam Base

Marley's Ghost

After 22 years of making music together, the members of Marley's Ghost have developed a sound that's uniqely theirs.

"Together they are a unique amalgam of their respective backgrounds, personal proclivities, and musical abilities — a blend honed to a seamless collaboration over the many miles they traveled together down the road." Joel Selvin, San Francisco Chronicle

Listen to Marley's Ghost's new album "Ghost Town."

Laurie Lews & the Right Hands

Bay Area bluegrass legend Laurie Lewis has helped organize Bluegrass for the Greenbelt since the beginning. Once again, she and her band the Right Hands, will treat us to their grammy-nominated repertoire.

"A Laurie Lewis live show is a guaranteed good time." Sing Out! magazine
