Join the Fight Against Sprawl
How can we promote smart growth statewide? There are no easy answers, but one bill on Governor Gray Davis's desk, AB-857, makes headway into creating the infrastructure to do so. Greenbelt Alliance, along with a diverse coalition of nonprofit organizations, is supporting Bill AB-857. Governor Davis must make a decision by the end of September—urge him to sign it today. Go to the action alert to learn more.

Housing Crisis Report Card
You may have seen the press coverage that the Greenbelt Alliance & Non Profit Housing report has received, and, may even have read the report yourself. 72% of Bay Area governments are failing to take the most basic steps to address the affordable housing shortage. So what has this report really done to help promote affordable housing in the Bay Area? Find out now.

Wanted: Your Favorite Bay Area Excursions
What is your favorite place to visit in the Bay Area? We want to know your favorite local excursions, and, we want to put them in our email newsletter.
